JOB LOCATION: Mumbai

Position Overview

The Asstt. Manager/Manager – Operations & Programme Management will be responsible for the overall coordination, implementation, monitoring and administrative management of CITI-CDRA’s programmes and projects. The position will involve coordination with government departments, donors, industry partners, technical institutions and field teams, along with oversight of project planning, manpower, budgets, reporting, documentation and stakeholder engagement.

Suggested Qualification & Experience

• Postgraduate degree preferably in Agriculture, Agribusiness, Rural Management, Development Studies, Social Sciences, Management or a related field.
• 2-4 years of relevant experience in project/programme management, agriculture development, CSR, NGO/development-sector programmes, sustainability or related areas.
• Experience in managing government/donor-funded projects and multi-stakeholder programmes will be preferred.
• Experience in cotton, sustainable agriculture, regenerative agriculture or rural development will be an added advantage.

Key Responsibilities

1. Project Planning & Implementation
   • Plan, coordinate, and monitor timely implementation of government, donor, CSR, and industry-supported projects in timely manner.
2. Stakeholder Coordination
   • Coordinate with government departments, donors, CSR partners, industry bodies, ICAR, technical institutions, and other stakeholders.
   • Prepare proposals, concept notes, presentations, reports, etc.
3. Team Management
   • Coordinate recruitment, deployment, supervision, and performance monitoring of project teams.
   • Ensure effective coordination across state, district, and field-level teams.
4. Field & Farmer Outreach
   • Oversee farmer trainings, demonstrations, workshops, field activities, and awareness programmes.
   • Monitor field implementation, outcomes, and documentation.
5. Sustainability & Regenerative Agriculture
   • Coordinate sustainable cotton, regenerative, climate-smart, and responsible agriculture initiatives.
   • Support certification, carbon farming, biochar, and carbon-credit programmes.
6. Monitoring & Reporting
   • Ensure timely project reporting, MIS, dashboards, documentation, and impact reporting.
   • Review project data and track progress against targets.
7. Financial & Administrative Coordination
   • Support budgeting, expenditure monitoring, utilization tracking, and project-related administrative coordination.
   • Coordinate procurement, vendor management, advances, payments and supporting documentation in accordance with organizational procedures.
   • Coordinate with Accounts and Administration for timely processing and settlement of project-related requirements.
   • Monitor budget utilization and highlight deviations or pending financial requirements.
8. Communication & Stakeholder Engagement
   • Represent CITI-CDRA in project meetings, workshops, review meetings and stakeholder consultations as assigned.
   • Maintain effective communication and coordination between senior management, project teams and external stakeholders.
   • Prepare meeting minutes, action points and follow-up communications and ensure timely closure of assigned actions.
