Sub.: Inputs regarding amendment in Rules to facilitate integration of Customs operation from SEZ portal – reg.

Dear Sirs/Madam,

Greetings from the CITI!

This is to inform you all that to enhance the ease of doing business for SEZ units, CBIC has undertaken certain steps to facilitate the integration of Customs operations from SEZ portal. However, for bringing the system on ICEGATE, several amendments were required which the Director General of Export Promotion (DGEP) worked out and proposed to the Department of Commerce (DoC).

DoC has now asked the Export Promotion Council for EOUs & SEZs (EPCES) to examine and furnish comments on the draft amendments submitted by DGEP.

We are hereby attaching the draft amendments for your kind perusal and request our members specially EOUs and SEZs to please examine the same and share your feedback positively by 24^th November so that the same can be compiled and shared with DoC.
