Sub.: Uplifting of IOAS suspension of CU Inspections & Certifications India Pvt. Ltd. for GOTS, Textile Exchange and ISO/IEC 17065 accreditation

 

Dear Sirs/Madam,

This has reference to the suspension of the accreditation of CU India for ISO/IEC 17065 (all scopes), GOTS (all scopes), and Textile Exchange (all scopes) by the International Organic Accreditation Service (IOAS) on 3rd March 2023.

On the request of the members, CITI took up the matter aggressively with the concerned authorities of the IOAS, GOTS, and Textile Exchange, and on the basis of communication received from GOTS, CITI vide circular dated 21^st March 2023 also informed the respected members that “GOTS has followed all the accreditation requirements and submitted all required documentation for further consideration by IOAS and awaiting a response from the accreditation body.”

We are pleased to inform you all that as per the latest news released by IOAS on its website, IOAS suspension of CU Inspections & Certifications India Pvt. Ltd. for GOTS, Textile Exchange and ISO/IEC 17065 accreditation has been lifted.
