Sub: Highlights of the 9^th meeting of Inter-Ministerial Steering Committee (IMSC) held virtually on 14^th July 2023 – reg.

The 9th meeting of the Inter-Ministerial Steering Committee (IMSC) was held on the 14^th July 2023, unbder the chairmanship of the Hon’ble Union Minister of Textiles, Shri Piyush Goyal.

During the meeting the Hon’ble Union Minister directed to expedite the settlement of TUFS cases. Accordingly, it was decided that the Office of Textile Commissioner will hold daily VC meetings with stakeholders from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM on all working days starting from 17^th July 2023 link of which can be found by visiting the page: http://www.txcindia.gov.in/html/vcmeeting.htm.

Members are advised to login in the VC meetings with the following details:

• Unit Name
• TUFS Ref. No.
• Name & Designation of person representing
• Details of the issue

We would also like to bring to the notice of respected members that during the IMSC meeting it was also decided that iTUFS portal is likely to be made available from 24^th July 2023 after finishing the security checks.

Detailed minutes of the 9^th IMSC will be circulated to members as and when the same will be received by CITI.

Members are requested to use this opportunity to fast track the resolution of their pending TUFS cases by interacting directly with the office of Textile Commissioner.
