As you are aware that the International Cotton Advisory Committee (ICAC) will hold its 81^st Plenary Meeting in Jio World Convention Centre, Mumbai from 2-5 December 2023. The ICAC is an association of members of cotton producing, consuming and trading countries. Theme of the 81^st ICAC Plenary Meeting is “Cotton Value Chain: Local Innovations for Global Prosperity”. Brochure of the event is attached. Tentative Programme and other details of the event is available at https://icac.org/Meetings/Details?eventId=1229.

The host for this event is Government of India, Ministry of Textiles and co-host are Cotton Corporation of India (CCI), Cotton Association of India (CAI) and Confederation of Indian Textile Industry (CITI). The organising committee is headed by the Textile Commissioner of India and representatives of CCI, CAI and CITI.

This prestigious international gathering brings together delegates from across the world as well as from India to deliberate on Cotton issues. The leading experts, of Cotton Textile Value Chain will be also addressing, various sessions which relate to current situation, as well as innovations, that are taking place around, and new changes and practices which are being adopted in various countries. This makes the event impactful and beneficially interactive to all who are connected with the cotton value chain.
