Opening of iTUFS portal to upload six mandatory documents upto 31.08.2024 for cases related to previous versions of MTUFS, RTUFS and RRTUFS – reg.

 

Dear Sirs/Madam,

This has reference to previous versions of TUFS for which the Ministry of Textiles vide Office Memorandum No. 16015/0I/20I9-TUFS dated 14th June, 2019 has issued protocol to upload the six mandatory documents on i-TUFS portal for facilitating constitution of Joint Inspection Team and physical verification of the claimed machineries of ongoing account.

To facilitate the banks/lending agencies, the deadline to upload the documents have been extended multiple times. However, in majority of cases banks/lending agencies have failed to upload the mandatory 6 documents.

CITI and several other industry associations from time to time have been requesting the Government to give one more chance to banks/lending agencies to upload the required mandatory documents. Accordingly, IMSC in its meeting held on 5th Feb 2024 decided to give one time permission to such banks/lending agencies.

In view of the above, Office of the Textile Commissioner vide its public notice no. F. No. 5 (2)/Physical Inspection/2024/RTUFS/I0 dated 16th August 2024 has now opened i-TUFS portal for uploading of the required mandatory documents from the period 16/08/2024 to 31/08/2024.

Members are requested to take benefit of this opportunity, in case they have any such pending case. The deadlines are strict and any further extension may not be provided by OTXC.
