This has reference to the UNDP’s session on Responsible Business Practices for the Textiles and Apparel Sector conducted by UNDP in association with CITI. The objective of the session was to provide companies in the textile and apparel industry with an introduction into UNDP’s B+ HR Academy and the evolving regulatory landscape on responsible business practices both globally and in the Indian context.

To facilitate greater awareness and action towards reducing the sector’s adverse human and environmental impacts, UNDP’s B+HR Academy is hosting a 2 day-in person workshop for the Textile and Apparel Industry to strengthen companies’ knowledge of responsible business practices and improve their understanding of and ability to carry out HRDD as envisaged in upcoming regulations globally and nationally.

CITI is the industry partner for this workshop and encourages mid-level management across Human Resources, Diversity and Inclusion, and Sustainability divisions/departments to participate.

It may be noted that a maximum of 2 personnel from one company can join the meeting and all the participants who will complete the two-day training will be issued a Certificate of Participation.
