Sub.: Outcome of the First Meeting of Committee on Cotton Production and Consumption (COCPC) for the Cotton Season 2024-25 held on 28.11.2024 – reg.

 Dear Sirs/Madam,

 To deliberate upon the cotton production and consumption for the cotton season 2024-25, the first meeting of the Committee on Cotton Production and Consumption (CoCPC) was held on 28^th November 2024 under the Chairpersonship of the Textile Commissioner.

The meeting was attended by representatives from the Central Govt., State Govt., Textile Industry, Cotton Trade and Ginning & Pressing Sector.

The major highlights, as decided during the meeting, for the cotton season 2024-25 as compared to 2023-24 are as below:
