Sub.: Extension of the existing RoDTEP Scheme upto 30/09/2024 and inclusion of AA/SEZ/EOU units under RoDTEP – reg.

 

Dear Sir/Madam,

As members are aware that the RoDTEP Scheme was about to expire on 30/06/2024. However, the Directorate General of Foreign Trade (DGFT) vide notification no 70/2023 dated 8th March 2024 has extended the RoDTEP scheme beyond 30/06/2024 which shall now be applicable till 30/09/2024.

It is also pertinent to note that now the Government has extended RoDTEP to AA holders (except deemed exports), SEZ and EOU units from 11/03/2024 and till 30/09/2024. As far as RoDTEP rates are concerned, Members may kindly note that there has been no change in the existing rates of RoDTEP for textile items (except for 2 textiles items of chapter 53 (coir bristles and coir pith) whose RoDTEP have been increased from 1% to 2.5%). The same has been be seen at:

RoDTEP rates pertaining to textiles for SEZ/EOU/AA Exports have also been declared by introducing a new appendix 4RE link for which may be find at:

Members may kindly take note of the extension of existing RoDTEP scheme as also announcement of RoDTEP rates for SEZ/EOU/AA Exports and plan their exports accordingly.
