Confederation of Indian Textile Industry (CITI) has been encouraging excellence across the value chain of textile production since 1993-94 through the CITI Birla Economic & Textile Research Foundation Awards.

CITI Birla Economic & Textile Research Foundation Awards are aimed at:

• Carrying out inclusive economic investigation on topical and long-term problems of the textile industry;
• Spread and promotion of research in Textile Industry by way of grant of awards, Certificate of Merits and others

This year the Board of Trustees of CITI-Birla Economic and Textile Research Foundation have decided to grant four Awards of Rs. 50,000.- each to the textile mills who have achieved excellence in award topics as listed below:

Award I: Effective chemical management and compliance in textile wet processing.

Award II: Low carbon footprint initiatives in textile manufacturing

Award III: Data-Driven Sustainability Excellence in textile manufacturing

Award IV: Achieving ESG compliance through innovations

Textile mills are invited to apply for the above-mentioned awards through the given link latest by Friday, 12^th June 2026.

*For the Award Category -II: Low carbon footprint initiatives in textile manufacturing, please send filled up application form to mail@citiindia.org.

Applications received from textile mills will be scrutinized by a Jury appointed for the purpose. The decision of the Jury for the grant of Award shall be final and binding.

You are requested to kindly circulate the information among your industry partners/colleagues with a request to submit their application on email by timeline stipulated above.
