As the members may be aware that the Office of the Textile Commissioner has proposed to initiated action for recovery of subsidies released under various Technology Upgradation Fund (TUF) Schemes which is based on the findings of Special Joint Inspection Teams (JITs) and the documents uploaded by the concerned units as per the 2019 prescribed protocols.

CITI in coordination with other industry associations is taking up the matter with concerned officials in the Ministry with a view to resolving the issue and safeguarding the legitimate interests of the affected units.

In this regard, members whose cases may be covered under the above issue are requested to provide the required details in the enclosed input format, duly filled in, and send the same to CITI appositively by 16^th August 2026 to enable CITI to consolidate the information and take with Ministry for appropriate consideration and resolution.
