We are pleased to announce the continuation of our Capacity Building Workshop, following the success of our previous sessions in Surat and Coimbatore on July 24th and 26th, 2024. These workshops garnered positive feedback and significant engagement from participants, underscoring the need for ongoing education and dialogue within the textile and garment industry.

In light of this momentum, CITI is organizing its third workshop in the Bangalore textile cluster, supported by CMAI and AEPC. The details of this upcoming workshop are as follows:

The workshop will provide valuable insights into the implications of HRDD, CSDDD, and Chemical Compliance for the textile and garment industry, helping participants navigate their rights and responsibilities as suppliers. Key focus areas include leveraging HRDD frameworks to enhance competitiveness and compliance, an in-depth analysis of how the CSDDD affects Indian businesses collaborating with European brands, and best practices for managing chemical usage in sustainable textile manufacturing.

An international expert on HRDD will conduct a dedicated session on the implications of the CSDDD for the Indian textile industry.

This workshop is tailored for top management, including Managing Directors, Directors, Chairpersons, and Chief Accountants. It is designed for textile and garment manufacturers, suppliers, and industry associations committed to fostering responsible and sustainable practices.
