Dear Sirs/Madam,

The Government of India have introduced four new labour codes, namely, The Industrial Relations Code, 2020, The Code on Wages, 2019, The Employment Safety, Health and Labour Conditions Code, 2020 and The Code on Social Security, 2020 with the objective of providing better working environment for the employees and ease of doing business provisions for the employers. The present labour laws were framed in the late 1940s to safeguard the interest of workers across various sectors and industries and needed to be restructured according to the present situation.

The presentations will be made by legal experts. Industry is also invited to share their concerns, if any, which can be taken u after the presentations.

In view of the above, we request you to kindly block your diary to attend the above webinar and also send your questions/ queries to Mr. Ravinder Rawat, Deputy Secretary, CITI at rawat@citiindia.org and mail@citiindia.org so that the same can be raised to the Experts during the discussion.

The meeting joining link will be shared on receipt of your confirmations. The industry is invited to avail of this session and have a better understanding of the proposed new labour codes, given their significant expected impact on the textile industry.

Thanking you,

Yours faithfully,
