Minutes of the 41st meeting of Technical Advisory Monitoring Committee (TAMC) under ATUFS held on 13.02.2025 – reg.

This is to inform you that the 41st Meeting of the Technical Advisory-cum-Monitoring Committee (TAMC) was held on 13.02.2025 at 11:00 AM in a hybrid mode under the Chairpersonship of Ms. Roop Rashi, Textile Commissioner. The meeting focused on reviewing the implementation of the Amended Technology Upgradation Funds Scheme (ATUFS) and previous versions of TUFS, discussing key issues, and addressing pending cases.

Key Discussions & Decisions:

  1. Review of TUFS Progress for FY 2024-25
    • Status of claim processing, disbursements, and compliance reviewed.
  2. Eligibility of Claims & Pending Cases
    • Discussions on claim eligibility, delisting matters, and JIT inspection delays with some cases deferred for further review.
  3. Ratification of ITC Decisions
    • Approval of enlistment of two foreign machinery manufacturers and one agent.
    • Resolution of machine model name and branding discrepancies.
  4. Enlistment of Machinery Manufacturers & Agents
  5. Resolution of Long-Pending Cases
    • Recommendation to accept alternative bank certificates where original documents are missing.
  6. Other Key Discussions
    • Reaffirmation of compliance with TAMC/ITC precedents.
    • Additional policy clarifications for better implementation.

The meeting concluded with a commitment to ensuring smooth implementation of TUFS.
