Dear Sirs/Madam,

It is to inform the members that NITI Aayog will soon be holding a stakeholder consultation to obtain a comprehensive understanding of key compliance issues and reform recommendations pertaining to the textile sector which covers the Acts, Rules, Regulations, Control Orders, Notifications, Circulars, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), portals, and other regulatory processes administered by the Ministry of Textiles.

The consultation is intended to facilitate discussions on sector-specific concerns faced by stakeholders in complying with the existing regulatory framework and to seek suggestions for streamlining regulatory processes, reducing compliance burden, enhancing ease of compliance, and promoting a trust-based regulatory framework in line with the principles of Jan Vishwas Siddhant.

In view of the above, members are requested to share their valuable inputs latest by 20^th June 4:00 PM to enable CITI to compile the same and present before the concerned committee.
