This has reference to the Production Linked Incentive (PLI) Scheme which was notified in 2021 with an objective to promote production of MMF Apparel & Fabrics and products of Technical Textiles in the country to enable Indian textile industry to achieve size and scale, become competitive.

Ministry of Textiles has already received 74 applications under the scheme with a proposed investment of about Rs 28,711 crores. To encourage wider participation from the industry, the Ministry has re-opened the PLI application portal till 31st August 2025.

To help industry stakeholders understand and benefit from the scheme, the Confederation of Indian Textile Industry (CITI), in association with M/s Wazir Advisors, is organizing a webinar as per the schedule below:
