Sub: Resolution for Appointment of Auditors under the Special Project on Cotton of ICAR – Central Institute of Cotton Research

For the FY 2024-25, a budget of Rs. 358.53 lakh has been sanctioned for various purposes including manpower, extension activities, IT Portal, statistical data entry, upload, and management, as well as marketing linkage support. CITI received two instalments total amounting to Rs.180.83 lakh. For the utilization certificate for the utilized amount, it is proposed that Chhabra B.K. & Associates, situated at 223, Sector-1, Vasundhara, Ghaziabad – 201012, undertake the necessary auditing procedures for the Special Project on Cotton of ICAR – Central Institute of Cotton Research allocated to CITI. The proposed fee for each utilization certificate and audited Statement of Account has been set at Rs. 25,000/-.

Accordingly, I propose to pass the following resolutions by circulation to the Committee Members, as per the provisions in section 175 of Companies Act 2013, for your kind consideration.

“Resolved that Chhabra B.K. & Associates, located at 223, Sector-1, Vasundhara, Ghaziabad – 201012, be appointed as auditors to conduct all necessary auditing procedures in accordance with the guidelines of the Special Project on Cotton of ICAR – Central Institute of Cotton Research. The fee for each utilization certificate and audited Statement of Account shall be Rs. 25,000. “
