Sub.: Request for comments on India-EU FTA: Rules of Origin-PSRs for Ch-50 to 63

This has reference to the ongoing India-EU FTA negotiations.

As informed by the DGFT, EU side has shared their Product Specific Rules (PSR) for the Textile and Apparel sector. In this regard DGFT has shared the attached excel file containing the below:

• Proposed PSR of both India and EU side by side
• Trade data
• EU’s PSRs in other FTAs.

Additionally, please also find attached a word document that contains definitions regarding various processes mentioned in the EU’s PSR proposal.

You are requested to kindly examine the PSR’s proposal and share your comments/observations for your concerned HS lines by 6^th July, 2023 so that the same can be compiled and shared with DGFT.
