Sub: Workshop on the Proposal for Introduction of The Ease of Doing Business and Ease of Living (Amendment of Provisions) Bill, 2022 – reg.

 

The Department For Promotion of Industry and Internal Trade (DPIIT) is in the process of drafting The Ease of Doing Business and Ease of Living (Amendment of Provisions) Bill, 2022, as a part of ongoing exercise of Decriminalization of Acts. The Bill is aimed at amending/ omitting certain penal provisions existing in the various Acts.

 

In this regard, a tabulation on Act-wise Existing and Proposed Provisions across 38 Acts is attached for your reference.

 

In view of the above, we request you to send your inputs/ suggestions/ comments to us latest by tomorrow evening i.e. 15^th September, 2022 for our further necessary action.
