We are pleased to inform you that as a run-up to Global Investors Summit (GIS) 2023 – a flagship investment promotion event of Government of Madhya Pradesh scheduled on 11th and 12th January 2023 at Brilliant Convention Centre, Indore – the Government of Madhya Pradesh is organizing a ‘CEO Roundtable Meeting with the Hon’ble Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh, Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan’ with a special focus on ‘Investment Opportunities in Textile & Garment Manufacturing in Madhya Pradesh’ on Thursday, 20th October 2022 from 1500 hrs – 1700 hrs at Hotel Leela Palace, Grand Ballroom, Diplomatic Enclave, Chanakyapuri, New Delhi.
Members are invited to avail of the Session to get information on the existing industrial infrastructure and policy initiatives and explore investment opportunities in the Textile and Garment Sector. The State offers up to 200% incentives for garment units on investment in land and machinery along with the waiver of interest on short term loans amongst other financial incentives.
Over the last decade Madhya Pradesh has witnessed a significant positive transformation in terms of economic and social development. This impressive growth is supplemented by creation of a robust support infrastructure in terms of roads, water supply, irrigation and 24×7 power supply. State government has been successful in creating a favourable business climate in the state.
Under the recent production linked incentive (PLI) scheme for the textile sector, the State of Madhya Pradesh has bagged the highest amount of investment in the country, to the tune of Rs 3,513 crore. With a favorable investor friendly policy Madhya Pradesh is looking to consolidate its position as leading destination for textile & garment manufacturing in country.
The Principal Secretary, Department of Industrial Policy & Investment Promotion, Government of Madhya Pradesh has invited Chairman, CITI to join the Roundtable Conference along with a delegation of CITI Members from 15:00 Hrs to 17:00 Hrs with the Hon’ble Chief Minister, Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan.
