Sub.: Request for inputs towards proposed draft forms for ASR and MSR for Textile Statistical Returns System portal – reg.

Dear Sirs/Madam,

This is in reference to the Office of the Textile Commissioner (OoTXC) Public Notice No. 17/6/2016/E&SB, dated August 31, 2020, regarding the submission of the Annual Statistical Return (ASR) and Monthly Statistical Return (MSR) through the Textile Statistical Returns System (TSRS) portal. These submissions encompass data on installed capacity, employment, raw material consumption and production, month-end stock, and other relevant statistics. Such data serves as a critical resource for the Government to maintain a comprehensive database for policy interventions and address the needs of the industry and other stakeholders.

Based on the requests of the industry to simplify the existing TSRS portal as also the various forms, OoTXC has formed a working group that conducts regular review meetings of the same.

The recent meeting of the group was held on 13^th January 2024 during which the OoTXC presented the modified draft Annual Statistical Return (ASR) and Monthly Statistical Return (MSR) forms and is seeking observations of the industry.

It is requested to kindly go through the form that suits your organization and share your valuable observations by 23^rd January 2025. Your suggestions will be crucial in the finalization of the forms.
