Sub.: Request for inputs on draft QCOs of Geo Textiles, Ropes & Cordages and Indutech – reg.

 

Dear Sirs/Madam,

 

In a communication received from the Office of Textile Commissioner (OTXC) it has been informed that the Ministry of Textiles has prepared draft Quality Control Orders (QCOs) for the below given Technical Textile items for bringing them under mandatory BIS certification keeping in view human safety, environment protection, and for ensuring optimum quality of product:

• Geo Textiles (01 item),
• Ropes & Cordages (09 items),
• Indutech (01 item).

A copy of the Draft QCOs is attached for your kind perusal.

Members are requested to kindly review these draft QCOs and share their views/comments/suggestions on the same latest by 5^th May 2024 so that the same may be compiled and forwarded to the Ministry for necessary action.
