Sub.: India-EU FTA: Rules of Origin-PSRs for Ch-50 to 63 (Textiles)– reg.

 

Dear Sirs/Madam,

India is currently negotiating Free Trade Agreement with European Union. In this context Ministry of Commerce and Industry is seeking Industry inputs whether Government can propose the same PSRs for EU as it has proposed with the Canadian side for the upcoming India-Canada Trade Agreement.

You are requested to kindly go through the attached PSRs which India has proposed for the upcoming Canadian Trade Agreement and kindly submit your feedback/suggestions on the applicability of the attached PSRs for the upcoming India-EU Trade Agreement.

In case you feel for any alternate PSR, you are kindly requested to submit the same HS Code wise along with your justification before 23^rd May 2023 so that the same can be compiled and shared with the Ministry for necessary action.
