Sub.: Request for feedback on the ASEAN-India Trade in Goods Agreement – reg.

 

Dear Sirs/Madam,

 

This is to inform you all based on the 2nd Committee meeting of Textiles and Apparels of Confederation of Indian Industries (CII) held on 26th April 2023, CII is seeking industry feedback on the ASEAN-India Trade in Goods Agreement that was signed and entered into force on 1 January 2010.

The objective of this exercise is to understand the services sectors/products/investments areas critical for Indian industry; requirements of exporters/importers in terms of their issues related to tariffs, non-tariffs, rules of origin, etc pertaining to trade with ASEAN countries.

Members are kindly requested to share back the filled questionnaire (attached) by 2^nd June 2023 so that the same can be compiled and shared with the CII for further necessary action.
